Teach Mhuiris
a typical dwelling dating back to the beginning of the last Century the last traditional thatched cottage in the area. Here you will find artefacts to give you an insight of how people lived in the Cnocfola area over 100 years ago.

A traditional festival
is held here annually during the last weekend in July where you can step back in time and sample the traditional style of living and surviving.

Cnocfola (Bloody Foreland)
Viewing point where you will encounter the most amazing sunsets – hence the name Cnocfola (the Hill of Blood) Bloody Foreland where the sunset throws a red hue over the entire landscape. You have the best view of the Wild Atlantic on calm days and on stormy days.

The Wild Atlantic Coastline
Our coastline is full of bays and inlets and you can if you so wish go island hopping with Selchie Sailing where you will see the most beautiful sea cliffs and long stretches of clean unspoilt sandy beaches.

Loinneog Lúnasa
On the second weekend of August every year a musical fesitival hosting concerts, cabaret craiceáilte and workshops in Sean nós dancing, sean nós singing and musical instruments held in the parish of Gaoth Dobhair. An event worth taking part in.
