I am looking for some information on Mary Jane Sweeney. She is related to
the Sweeneys who run the pleasure crafts on Loch Lomond. I am particularly
interested on learning more about the man she married in the early 1900's.
His name was Benjamin Bishop, my grandfather.

No. 483
My grandfather, Maurice Francis Sweeney, left Scartaglin, Ireland, in
1895. He was 21. He met my grandmother, Jennie St. Peters (believe her
maiden name was was Murray) near Chicago. He had a daughter, Annie. My
father, Ned Maurice Sweeney was born 5/4/28 in Waterbury CT and attended
Sacred Heart. He joined the USMC when he was 17. His father died sometime
before then and had worked at a brass factory and then as a watchman in
Hartford. My father died in 1988. Anyone with information about my
grandparents or aunt, please email. God bless and thank you.

My gggrand-father Peter Maloney (born ca. 1812) arrived in Canada ca.
1820-30). He was the son of William Maloney and PALLY Sweeney (born ca.
1780-90).
In any of the posts here, do we see the surname Pally, which could give a
chance to be in the branch I am looking for.
If one of you can help me, I would be very grateful.
